Our Tasting Room

Located in the heart of Mendocino County wine country, our stunning tasting room welcomes visitors seven days a week and features both our reserve Barra wines as well as our Girasole Vineyards brand. We are located approximately 2 hours north of San Francisco, just off Highway 101. Set on 50 acres of beautiful vineyards planted to organic Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir, the tasting room is an architectural phenomenon that dates back to the 1970’s. The sprawling 5,000 square foot tasting room highlights 40 foot ceilings, a circular tasting bar, and an indoor fountain. 

We invite you to bring a lunch and spend a relaxing afternoon in our beautiful gardens surrounded by picnic tables and shade umbrellas. Pets are welcome as well, and there is always room in our large parking lot for our motor home friends!

Reservations:
No reservations required! We do ask that if you have a party of 8 or more guests, you give us a call at 707.485.0322 or mail events@barraofmendocino.com at least a day in advance so that we can properly prepare for your visit.

Tasting fee:
$10 per person tasting fee applies and is refunded with any wine purchase.
